Accessibility and Usabilty for People With Disabilities

Advocates for accessibility and usability of new converged technologies remain concerned that their access needs are not being addressed with these new approaches. For instance, will a person who is blind be able to hear read out aloud the email they receive? And without having to buy some expensive software or hardware add-on?
