Why would I want to spend money on this app, when I can already, using available applications which don't cost money, rip/backup my dvd's with less toll on diskspace?
The countersuit brought by the studios is really all about control over how/where/when we can watch the media we legitametly buy.
the studio's complaint that for $3.95 someone can now rip the movie is spurrious at best because I can download that same movie without having to spend that money (should I so choose).
What about those Disney 1ce in 10 years dvds that they sell that your kids love watching? do you really think that I'm going to let a young child scratch/destroy the originals?
