Should I take the A+ exam FIRST to begin my journey into the CCNA, CCNP concentration?

Trying to decide if I I should invest the time and money to get the A+ Certification FIRST or should I go directly to studying for the CCNA and pick up the A+ later? Please advise. My investigation so far has led me to believe I should invest in training and studying for the CCNA and CCNP and then take the A+ exam later. Thanks in advance for your time and response.
