No slowdown for U.S. tech industry

You seem to be missing one important thing! Staffing levels in IT never actually recovered after the 2002 debacle!

So many companies are staffed at such low levels it begs the question of how long the current crop of workers can keep the current pace before they just burn out and need some mental health days. Someone is going to have to do the job on those days, at least!

Once you really look at it, we already have too few people pulling too many hours!
