What's left?

Isn't WAN Optimization done? I mean Juniper bought one, Cisco bought one - what are people expecting 3com?

What do the investors think they will get out of this? That's 63.5 million dollars invested - what's the pay out how could it be good?

Is WAN Optimization done? Not according to Intel Capital. Unless you think they like to throw money anywhere and hope for the best? Look at the facts, 19+ vendors, huge players trying to buy their way into the market and having assimilation problems (Juniper, Packetteer.) Now Intel making a play, backing Expand Networks out of that crowded field. The real question is what is it about Expand that is inviting this move by Intel Capital? Is it the just the virtualization move? Or is there something more? You tell me.
