Somewhere in a Parallel Universe

Tracking cookies will only be used for good and not for evil as well. Companies will not make you jump through hoops to find the boxes conveniently checked "opt in" for you. Companies will be need to re-opt you in to have phrases such as "what you have agreed to can change at any time" and "we reserve the right to provide your contact information to 'select partners" unless they have told you about these partners in advance. A chimera, I know.
