Why would want to wait until you got in a wifi area to use your network features, that doesn't make sence at all. Wouldn't you like to acess the network anywhere?

Yes I would. But I would also like to be able to use wifi when its available. Having wifi doesn't cut out your data network at all. Just allows you to download and upload things faster. Why wouldn't you want wifi access?

Compared with 3G, Wifi is rarely available. You also have to be stationary, essentially, to use it. Unless you live in a city that has one big coverage blanket that you either pay for or is free, it's completely inferior. Many are not free, or have a captive portal front end that you need to login to, etc.
Wifi is pointless when you have broadband on your phone everywhere.

This article fails to address other important function such as the camera which the BlackBerry has the edge with 3.2MP/auto focus/flash vs. iPhone which only boasts 2MP with no auto focus and flash.

Hi, is the camera resolution really that important? I always thought the lens made the biggest difference, since without a decent lens you just end up storing higher resolutions of bad looking images. I also wonder if taking really nice looking picture is important, why use any phone insteady of a SLR? The iPhone takes a decent snapshot if you have good lighting.

I am waiting for iPhone and the likes to give me the video output to standard projector (and runs PowerPoint) before I buy one.
