Don't ever forget that wrestling superheroes Macho Man Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan successfully tag teamed and beat the human colossus Andre the Giant and his tag team partner Ted DiBease at SummerSlam, why? Because today all eyes are on HP ProCurve as it wrestles goliath networking vendor Cisco with a new stable of tag team partners, billing themselves on enterprise marquees worldwide and to global networking fans as the ProCurve Open Network Ecosystem (ONE) tag team.
Also today, networking champ Cisco weighed in with a message of its own to global networking fans:
In my opinion, it appears that Cisco thinks because it generates 15 times the revenue of its next closest competitor in the LAN switching market, Cisco somehow is above the challenge presented by the new HP ProCurve tag team stable. According to Cisco, the "phenomenal growth numbers" of its competitor should be meaningless to existing and/or potential customers of Cisco (the networking vendor clone of superhero wrestler Andre the Giant).
